The Wondersmith Gift Guide 2020
Happy Holidays! As we enter the holiday season, I know everyone is on the lookout for the perfect gifts for their loved ones. And while there is SO much more to this time of year than the exchanging of gifts, I wanted to put together this little guide just in case it is helpful to you. :) I was blown away by the support of those of you who ordered from my December Emporium update, thank you so so so much! I sold out of everything within just a couple of days. (Many items sold out in just minutes!) If you missed the shop update but still want to get (or gift) a little Wondersmith holiday magic, here are some options for you:
Subscribe to my Patreon program on behalf of one of your loved ones! You can now pay for an entire year upfront, and they’ll receive all sorts of fun benefits, from secret recipes to sneak peeks of projects to gorgeous seasonal posters, depending on the pledge level! If you sign up in December at the “Tree” level or higher, your Spring poster will arrive right around the Spring Equinox. I am so proud of these pieces of art; each poster has a beautiful nature mandala surrounded by hand-drawn sketches of all the plants I forage for during each season. It reminds me of the bounty of nature, even in the hottest days of summer or coldest days of winter. This is the very best way to support me and what I do. My Patrons make it possible to share wonder with everyone else in such a big variety of ways!
If you love the nature mandala designs I create every month, you’re going to also love browsing my shop on Society6. There you can find my designs available on everything from wall art to cutting boards to pillowcases to water bottles! My personal favorites are the tote bags, which are durable enough to use as foraging bags or reusable grocery bags. There are tons of fun designs to browse through and enough diversity in products to find something for everyone. I get a percentage of every sale, which goes straight back into the Wonder Fund.
Fairytale Gatherings: Digital Copy:
Did you know I wrote a book? So many people were curious about my process in planning out the meaningful free gatherings I gift to strangers (when it’s not a pandemic, that is) that I wrote a book about it! In this book, you will be guided through the steps of using storytelling structure to design your own personalized and magical gathering. I lead the way with sketched ideas, easy-to-understand text, and real-life examples of the magical gatherings I create and share with strangers. Now you, too, can create gatherings infused with deeper meaning and beautiful craftsmanship. Part sketchbook and part portfolio, you’ll feel as if you’re peering over my shoulder to watch all of the components come together before your eyes. Save some paper this year by gifting the digital copy instead.
Fairytale Gatherings: Hard Copy
If you’re one of those people that just loves the experience of a physical book, you can get one of those too. This would be a great resource for party planners or event coordinators of any faith background as my approach is not tied to any specific spiritual or religious traditions (unlike the vast majority of books about ceremony and ritual.) It's an especially helpful resource when considering the need to plan for an atypical event such as a non-traditional wedding ceremony, pet memorial, or full moon celebration. Finally, it's a fun dive into my weird and passionate thought process. 60+ pages of magic await you.
Enchanted Living Subscription:
I absolutely LOVE this magazine and the wonderful folks behind it. Some Wondersmith magic is tucked into almost every issue! If you are a lover of all things magical, I bet you’ll find it as enchanting and inspiring as I do.
If you love diving into meaningful projects and giving handmade gifts, many of my recipes and projects would make wonderful holiday presents. I’ll be posting some DIY gift ideas throughout the month of December, and you can browse older posts for plenty of great ideas too.
Happy Holidays, no matter what or how you celebrate! This season is about so much more than exchanging gifts. It is about love and gratitude and the magic of midwinter. Wishing you all the very best!

Huge thanks to my Patrons that make sharing all of these lovely posts with you possible (without all of the pop-ups and ads that make browsing other blogs so annoying). If you’re feeling generous, you too can support the wonder with a monthly contribution of your choice. Even $1 helps a lot!
